How beneficiaries identified:
Staff at TunaHAKI continues to identify vulnerable children living on the street particularly those at risks of prostitution, crime and diseases.  Government Social Welfare officers, ward and village leaders always direct clients in needs as they respect our services offered.  The centre works towards family re-unification where possible.  Also we do implement a programme of home visits and community awareness using TunaHAKI children Drama as participatory development method.  Through counseling, no-formal education and creative arts, the centre works to establish healthy and trusting relationship with young people, re-introducing the children into a lovely safe and secure environment where they can get nutritive food, sleep on mattresses, treated when are sick/ill and go to school and learn new skills for the future.

TunaHAKI hopes to develop as a centre of excellence, promoting youth arts and education to vulnerable young people in the Northern part of Tanzania particularly Kilimanjaro region.  It is seeking to expand and improve its residential facilities so that more children are able to benefit from its resources.  Among others, TunaHAKI aims to develop its community programme, increasing awareness throughout the region.
